Entry | Coy patrol areas defined (See attd Patrol Instns and Trace Appx D.4). Patrols revealed that enemy was still holding area from Rly Stn 584649 to beyond 'C' and 'D' Coy posns to East, and up to Fort walls. Enemy was still holding posns close to 'C' and 'D' Coys North and North-West, and also covering road and cemetary to their East. Patrol Results - see Patrol Log attd (Appx F.7.). Dispositions at nightfall as before, except 1 Pl 'C' Coy took up posn North side of cemetary 596638. During night a party of enemy estimated at 25 men or more advanced against 'C' Coy perimeter down the tarmac road from East. This party paused a few yards from the perimeter, and grenades were thrown at them. Considerable groaning was heard, and later one enemy body was recovered and much blood found. Casualties - Enemy - 2 killed, 2 wounded known. Own casualties - 2 O.Rs wounded. Reference to Appendice: Appx D.4. Patrol Instructions for 16 March.
