| Entry | Bn marched at 0415 hrs to TAUNGIN (5521). Creek crossing for M.T. at TAUGIN had to be constructed by Sappers. Bn passed through 2nd Welch Regt at 1530 hrs and continued advancing, with Squdn of tanks (Stuarts) of 7th Cavalry, to contact 4/4 GR at SHWEGON (5516). Contact made at 1700 hrs and Bn took up posn about 1/2 mile N of 4/4 G.R. No contact with enemy. Reference to Appendice: None. |
