Location Ywathit, Burma
Entry Locations as on previous day. Patrols sent to chaung about 4 miles East and to WAONGON 7900. Small enemy outpost posns still occupied by a few enemy. At 1400 hrs 'B' Coy moved out to form patrol base at 813037. On way out enemy encountered at 805033 estimated approx 2 L.M.Gs and grenade dischargers. Coy changed its route and established base at 792030. Lieut Hooper killed one Jap during encounter. At 1530 "C" Coy moved out to establish patrol supply base at 785049 for "B" Coy. Late afternoon orders received from Bde to patrol MUGAUNGYI (8697) and MALEGYI (8501). C.O. ordered "D" Coy to move to WAYONGON (7900) during night and "C" and "D" Coys to move there during early morning. Arty H.F. carried out on Malegyi during night.
