Entry | Platoon of 'A' Coy at MAKAUK was relieved by 1 Platoon of 'B' Coy and returned to SHWEDAIK. Patrols were carried out as per O.O. No. 1. No enemy were seen. 'C' Coy was re-formed as from 1000 hrs, by transfering 1 complete platoon from 'A' Coy, and 1 from 'D' Coy. All 3 Coys were thus temporarily organised on a two platoon basis. Major E.C. Pemberton (M.C.) assumed command of 'C' Coy, with Capt R.A. Davis as 2 I/C. Major G.V. Cartwright assumed command of 'D' Coy. 'C' Coy, location Bn HQ, took over task of mobile reserve from 'A' Coy as laid down in para 4 (b) of O.O. No. 1. Reinforcement draft of 1 C/Sjt, 3 Sjts, 3 Cpls and 93 Ptes joined from 25 R/t Camp.
