| Entry | Locations unchanged. C.O. went to Bde H.Q. at 1030 hrs to fly over enemy positions. At last minute plane not available. Air strike with 500 lb bombs arranged for late morning, to be followed by a one Coy attack on Pt 280. This Air Strike was cancelled at last minute. Usual Air Strike with fighter aircraft on rear of 15 r at 1530 hrs appeared to be carried out with great accuracy. Patrols - during day armoured car moved up Hill Feature NAT TAUNG at S.R. 647219. During night ambush patrols and listening patrols sent out by B & D Coys. No material results, but enemy digging and talking heard on top of ridge, in front of D Coy. Reference to Appendice: None. |
