| Entry | Bn continued clearance of area East of Chaung, East of KABWET (S.R. 6820). Bn HQ and 'A' Coy occupied KOKTET (S.R. 6821) at 1100 hrs. B Coy took up position South of KOKTET and encountered enemy opposition about 300 yds South. 'D' Coy moved round to the East to block escape to the East between KOKTET and R IRRAWADY, and also to support 'B' Coy. 'B' Coy attacked enemy position with Arty support at 1615 hrs. Attack failed owing to enemy positions being stronger and more numerous than at first anticipated. 'B' Coy withdrew to area previously held. Casualties - 1 OR killed, 7 O.Rs wounded.
