Location Zigon, Burma
Entry Bn in D.A. at X roads (S.R. 2642) 4/4 G.R. passed through at 0700 hrs. Bn H.Q., A & C Coys moved West to ZIGON (SR 2441) and secured village without opposition. Jeep patrol commanded by Lieut E.J. Waugh sent out and contacted 1st Bn Royal Berk at Bugyi (1940) at 1030 hrs. B and D Coys TANTABIN (SR 2941). D Coy captured 2 enemy lorries in POKPA (SR 2741). Bn HQ, HQ Coy A & C Coys advanced Southwards along Rly line. B & D advanced Southwards across country and met up with remainder of Bn at MS 22.7 Rd ZIGON-KINU. Bn formed D.A. at M.S. 22.1.
