| Entry | Information has been received that it was decided at an ALFSEA conference that subject to War Office approval all those eligible for repatration will go home as a bn. It is thought that ALFSEA may not appreciate the fact that the bulk of the Bn have already gone home as a draft. The CO has written to OC 2nd Bn asking if he is prepared to accept the officers and men not due for repatriation. Training of instructors for the NCO's cadre will commence on Monday 22 Oct. Block Trg programmes attached. APPENDIX 7. Details of an inter pltn competition to be held when the NCO's cadre has finished are attached. APPENDIX 8. 10 OR's for LIAP and Capt R McAvoy and personnel of gps 21 - 22 despatched to reception camp. |
