Entry 1300hrs. Escort of 1 NCO and 2 men left MA-UBIN for PANTANAW (7762) (Remarks: Sheet 85 P/5 1" to 1 mile refers). They will probably return 18 Sep. Censorship Regulations have been shelved. The only conditions now are that men will not write about: a. Dates and details of occupying forces until they have been effectively established. b. Clandestine Forces. E.T.D. of escort for currency now 17 Sep. Information rcd that personnel from 6 BDE less 1 R BERKS in Age and Service gps above 25 and NOT due for repatriation will shortly be despatched to INDIA. Consequently certain attached personnel in the Delta have had to be withdrawn and there is no cummunication [sic] with WILFORCE as no further 22 set operators can be found. Move of the remainder of the Bn will NOT now take place. Remarks: 2nd Bn personnel returned today. Release gps 19 and 20 despatched to 69 IND RECEPT CAMP. Further men have arrived from 2nd Bn. C coy is entertaining them.
