Capt (QM) H Kitney MBE rejoined the Bn from Unit Rear Details. 1600hrs. Lt J S Wright and Lt R J Bowler granted war leave (16 days at destination) and despatched to 208 Reception Camp. 1800hrs. Message received from Rear Details saying that Capt C C Hughes died 0024hrs on 3 Aug 45. Appendix 2. |
