| Entry | 0800hrs. Report from patrol stating they stayed night at TWANTEWA 1727 as Navy could not get as far KYAIKKLAT 0197. AFW's 3008 and 3009 for week ending 30 June 45 attached. 1900hrs. Further report from patrol : NTR. Guards in and around Rangoon have gradually been reduced through the latter part of the month. We are now doing 6 guards which involve at any one time approximately 1 officer, 15 NCO's 62 privates. 1" scale maps of the area of operations will be attached to the JULY 1945 War Diary. |
