Entry | Censorship regulations have been amended to permit men to say in letters that they took part or watched the Victory Parade in RANGOON on June 15th 1945. See appendix 8. 1400hrs. Bn Op Instruction no 2 issued. 1520hrs. Bn rugby football team played the BORDER REGT. Bn lost 23 to 5 points. Entertainments tonight as follows:- (a) Cinema show in Bn cinema. (b) R Marine Concert Party at Bde HQ. (c) Entertainment of men from army units aboard HMS CUMBERLAND in Rangoon harbour. The Regt Dance held at the Clive Hall last night was a success. Each Coy gave their men a security talk before the dance. MAJOR GD ACTON MC rejoined from hospital - wounded in MAR 45. To be OC B Coy. W.E.F. 19 June 45 MAJOR JE BRISCOE relinguishes T/Rank of Major. To be 2 I/C B Coy. W.E.F. 9 June 45 CAPT AD VEALL reliquishes A/RANK of CAPT. To HQ Coy as Bn Education Officer.
