Entry Religious services as follows took place:- C of E 0730hrs Holy Communion 1000hrs Morning Services 1830hrs Evensong RC 1100hrs Mass In view of the proximity of repatriation for a large percentage of the Bn, and particulary specialist pls and HQ Coy Officers, it has been decided:- 1. to commence training 100% reinforcements for the Specialist pls, so that when the long service men are repatriated there will be no break in the efficiency of the unit. 2. Key officer jobs (Adjutant, IO, SO, Mortar Officer) are to be understudied. UNDERSTUDY OFFICERS Lieut JS WRIGHT (IO) Lieut J CRUIKSHANK (3pl) Lieut K BEVERLEY (ADJT) 1500hrs. HQ Coy ran a Garden Fete in the grounds of their billet. 1700hrs. Lt Gen SIR OLIVER LEESE, C in C ALESEA, visited the Bn and spoke to men individually as he walked round the billets.
