Entry | 1200hrs. The Dvisional Comdr, MAJ. GEN. D. NICHOLSON, visisted the Bn informally, and talked to individual men as he walked round the camp. He then spoke to all officers, WO's and Sgts about future operations. All leave ceases today. Men on leave have been recalled. 6 Inf Bde Admin Order no 1 of 22 Apr 45 for Operation "DRACULA" received. 1700hrs. The CO and IO attended a CO's conference at Bde HQ, where the Brigadier (BRIG, WG. SMITH, DSO) divulged the objective, the date of entrainment; and the Bde IO gave a picture of enemy dispositions in the area of the objective. LT COL J.B. BRIERLEY returned from leave.
