| Entry | 0230 hrs. Bn. personnel train left for BANDEL. On this train was one Coy of 2 DLI. The train journey went smoothly, with administrative arrangements well organised by Movement Control. The Bn reached CHANDPOR (on E side of Brahanaputra) at 1100 hrs approximately. The Bn had a hot meal and went aboard the steamer for GAOLUNDA GHAT (W bank of Brahanaputra). This place was reached at 1800 hrs, where another meal was eaten, and a mobile cinema show given to the troops. |
