Entry | During the morning 12 hurricanes struck the gun area with machine gun and 2lb cannon. 100 AK Regt fired 6 lb A/T guns at the gun which appears over the edge of the bund, and which seems to be the only one which is now in action. Many hits in the area were seen. A small patrol went out from the EAST end of the bund, and observed the fire. 1 pl of C Coy moved to SIZON (5443) to protect the MDS. 1930 to 2330 hrs. A Coy sent a small listening patrol (1 and 5) to try and get more information of Jap living area. They heard and saw nothing. Remarks. Wounded 22/3/45 5629076 L/C HITCHCOTT H.
