| Entry | 0200 hrs. Patrol of 1 officer and 6 ORs left for a patrol of SHWEPYSHIN village. 0430 hrs. Patrol returned. They were unable to reach the island due to the strength of current. See attached report. 1030 hrs. Bn 2i/c and I.O. went flying in an L5 air O.P. plane, over our front. 1430 hrs. Coy Cdrs conference reference move of Bn on 23rd Feb. 1. The 100 A/T Regt (Gordons) are taking over here in YWATHIGNI - one bty only. Take over area not decided yet. Probably B or C areas. 2. Recce party of Bn 2i/c and 2i/c Coys leaves at 0900 hrs for NATKAYAING village, where the Bn is staging prior to moving to the LEGYI area (1665). 3. All unused trenches to be filled in before we leave. 2000 hrs. Patrol of 1 officer and 6 ORs left to patrol SHWEPYSHIN village. 0030 hrs. Patrol returned. Report attached.
