Location RAIPUR, Burma
Entry 0800 hrs. 1 offr and 2 ORs left for 28 days home leave. Quiet day. No movement seen on our front, except 2 bullock carts on THAZI area (2357). 1800 hrs. 1 x 105mm and 2 x 75mm guns shelled B.N.Q. area. In all 17 rds were fired. No damage or casualties. Own arty (1 tp x 3.7's) returned fire, but enemy guns believed out of range behind and SOUTH of KYAUKTALON. 2000 hrs. 2 x 75mm enemy guns shelled area 242595 - outside Bn HQ area. 10 rds fired - caused by, it is believed, a truck moving down the road to our H.Q.
