| Entry | 0600 hrs. The DLI patrol to SHWEPYSHIN returned through our lines. 0630 hrs. The normal daily contact patrol to the 2 DLI went out returning at 0800 hrs. Nothing to report. There was intermittent shelling during the day of our area, the duration of each shoot being 15 minutes. No damage or casualties. KYAUKTALON VILLAGE and SWEPYSHIN ISLAND - activity in both places greatly reduced. Sentry post on the island remains despite our sniping, mortaring and air strafing. |
