Entry | 0800 hrs. C.O., I.O., and Company Commanders went with the Brigadier, B.M., and Bde I.O. to recce the lying up place for the Bn. The area selected was NATKYAING R.S. (2465). The ROYAL SCOTS were completing the occupation of YWATHIGHI (2359) whilst this recce was in progress. 1200 hrs. Bde. Operation Order no 8 was received, dealing with the move. 1400 hrs. H.Q. Company ran a "Garden Fete" for the men. Programme attached. This went with a gusto, quite unexpectedly, chiefly due to the excellence of the various booths.
