Location RAIPUR, Burma
Entry 6th Inf Bde REME commenced a two day inspection of all arms and instruments in the Bn. The unit bath unit came into operation and a large reading and writing room was erected. Major J.S.G.Walenn was appointed Chief Instructor, 14 Army Junior Leaders School and left by air for CHITTAGONG. Major D.M.M. Hall assumes command of D Coy. Capt H.J.Baker left by air with representatives of all units in the Div to purchase amenities in CALCUTTA. Reference to Appendices: Letter s/16/OPS of 3 Jul OPERATIONAL TASKS is att as Appdx "C".
