| Entry | All busy rearming and refitting. The Corps Commander visited the unit. There was nothing formal about his visit, he just walked round and talked to the men. The C.O and as many officers as could get there, visited the wounded in hospital. Very few of ours in hospital here. The Bn visited the Garrison Cinema and saw a Concert Party. All the acts were B.O.R.'s. A mobile cinema gave a show in the evening but it broke down eight times. Very hot and humid here. Remarks: Notification received that Lt DUNN died of Wounds on 15 May 44. |
