| Entry | The Bn was able to watch the attack today without being able to take part in it. An order to relieve D Coy and Lt DUNN'S pl on F.S.D. on the night 8/9 was received today. The C.O decided to do this with A Coy and No 2pl. Capt L.J.SEALY joined the main body from DIMAPUR. A quiet night. Remarks: The 1/Queens attacked JAIL HILL. They got 2 Coys on the objective but were withdrawn owing to heavy mortar and M.G. fire from D.I.S. |
