Entry | B and C Coys were relieved today. They had been on Summerhouse Hill for 17 days ie a good 4 days longer than any other troops. They were all in good heart and looking forward to a wash and shave. D Coy moved after dusk to the summit of F.S.D. via Summerhouse Hill. They reached their objective without having any casualties in spite of the fact that the enemy were reputed to be on F.S.D. slopes in fairly strong force. 2/Lt LENNOX joined the Bn + posted to A Coy. Capt Davies took over comd A Coy - Major Barton appointed 2 i/c of Bn. |
