Entry A and D and HQ Coys were relieved by 1/DORSETS and they moved to PICQUET HILL, B and C Coys remained on SUMMER HOUSE HILL 095225. There were no casualties during the move although the road was under sporadic M.G. fire. Personnel travelled in carriers. The relief started at 0945 hrs and was completed by 1530 hrs. Slight rain and some heavy mist. A quiet night. Major J.W. SAWYER was 'C' Coy Commander. He held a Regular Commission and joined the Regiment in 1939. Casualties during month, Killed 1 offr 32 O.R's, Died of Wounds 6 O.R's, Missing 6 O.R's, Wounded (Evac) 9 offrs 139 O.R's, Wounded (Not evac) 1 offr 19 O.R's, To Hosp (malaria etc) 6 O.R's. Total 11 offrs 208 O.R's
