Entry | At daylight snipers became very active up to 0900 1 BOR killed Cpl Almeida Pioneers, 1 B.O. Capt Whitfield wounded and 6 B.O.R. wounded. 0850. A Coy killed one JAP sniper as did D Coy but it was impossible to get in the bodies. At 1630 A/C dropped water. In the afternoon sniper activity decreased to a minimum and by stand down all was quiet. The night was extremely quiet the only enemy activity being A & M.T. movement in the village area - arty fire produced considerable amount of shouting.
