| Entry | Bn left area and moved to Kohima (Summerhouse Hill) where we took over positions from 4/R.W.K. the move was carried out without opposition until the very final stage when enemy mortars fired on the road and slopes of Hospital hill. Casualties, 2 OR (R.A.) killed 2 wounded. Positions were taken over. During the night considerable enemy movement - firing and grenade throwing in D Coy area opposite D.C. Bungalow - no recorded casualties. |
