Standing patrol out as usual - Nothing to report. General 1/15 PUNJABS attacked S from Pt 1102 along ridge and bumped enemy in area of Pt 1213. 4630. Enemy using LMG and digging in. Jap recce party of officers encountered but managed to get away. Japs reported furthest North yet - party seen digging in Area 4734 with movement to N.E. Violent electrical storm to N and N.E. in evening with incessant lightning. Slight rain about 2359 HRS. |
