War Diary

1943-03-15
Regiment 1st Royal Berkshire
Location Dombaik Front, Burma
Entry A listening patrol (C Coy) went out in the area S4 & S5 early this morning, nothing seen or heard. The situation in the whole area during the 24 hrs has remained static. FIELD Our own activity has been mainly intermittent shelling on registered arty targets. Another attempt to blow up the enemy strong points at S5 was made this evening by the R.E. but was unsuccessful due to the fact that the charge was not near enough to damage the objective. There was very little activity at night and the situation remains quiet.
