Location Dombaik Front, Burma
Entry A fairly quiet day in the whole area our own arty and mortars kept up sporadic fire during the whole 24 hours. Enemy aircraft. 1 lone fighter appeared at 1845 hrs but was driven off by heavy A.A. fire claimed to have been hit. RAF carried out several attacks during the day both by bombing and ground strafing. Enemy activity confined to sniping and occasional mortaring. Bn Fighting Patrol carried out a RECCE of WOODED VILLAGE AREA on the night 14/15 and sustained one casualty due to a bayonet wound in the leg. 1 enemy sentry was bayonetted in the arm, patrol returned without further incident.
