Entry Bn to carry out readjustment of posns to allow freer "transit" for Cdn atack. Pnrs, assisted by Pnr Pl 4 Som LI to examine and clear all tracks, in and leading to, new area. "B" Coy to revert to comd 5 Wilts. 1915hrs. All posns firm in new area. Bn HQ est 495869. Line of fwd tps :-494879, 492876, 802890, 497887, 486889, 485885, 488887, 487884. 2150hrs. "D" Coy patrol to contact 6 Cdn Inf Bde on left flank has returned and reports that having lost its way it met approx 15 en in area 486895, Patrol leader wounded 2 en, Patrol then withdrew. "New type" of mine found in Bn area in fairly [fairly] large numbers. 105mm(or 75mm) shell in ordinary wooden box, exploded on Schu mine principle. Several mines found with dust cap NOT removed 2300hrs. Recce party (tactical) at short notice to move to recce conc area fro [for] Bn. Bn at immediate notice from 250900.
