| Entry | [Pages 26-27] Shelling of whole bn area continues. Relief of bn by 4 SQM LI held up owing to 5 WILTS on left, clearing remaining en from buildings on northern side of TRIPSRATH (8767). This motion was supported by a large arty conc. Which was expected to draw en fire close to our own posns. There was also a second successful attack en UTTERATH (3770) by Typhoons during the day. The attack by 5 WILTS was successful and the relief of own bn was carried out after dark, concentrating in area of GEILENKIRCHEN (0664) with 3 coy NIEDERHEIDE (3665) and A coy 879655. |
