| Entry | In the evening the bn O gp moved through CAUVILLE to area occupied by 2 DEVONS (50 Div) to recce ground for bn objective, a long ridge 2 miles SE of CAUVILLE. O gp became involved in counter attack and had to remain until dark at 2 DEVONS HQ, when after some difficulty they rejoined the bn, which in the meantime had moved to an orchard 1/2 mile to the NORTH. |
