Entry 0930: Owing to shortage and late arrival of rations, breakfast was very late. 1030: A Coy left to take up guard duties at REDON, fifty miles N.E C Coy plus one Pl B Coy, left for Dock police duties, two Pls at NANTES two Pls at ST NAZAIRE B Coy (less one Pl) detailed for guard duties on RAOC Depot 1100: C.O and Lt Col Thomson to Sub-Area HQ to see The Commandant 1220: Pay for the Bn drawn from Fd, Cashier - 100,000 Fr. Administrative orders, duty orders and instructions received from Sub-Bn HQ. Distribution of the Bn is now as follows: - Bn HQ, HQ Coy (less Carriers not yet arrived) and D Coy in Main Billet Two Pls and HQ B Coy in main billet doing ordnance gds. A Coy at BLAIN, with a det of 17 men under 2/Lt Early at SAVERNAY Two Pls C Coy at ST NAZAIRE Docks. One Pl B and one Pl C at NANTES Docks
