Tpt Offr, RASC, Inverness, about requisitioning of local tpt 1330: Brig Dempsey arr for lunch and flies along coast this afternoon with Col Thomson. Posts put out at COVESEA LIGHTHO, and an O.P in a private house on the highest part of the town. T/pt at end of day amounts to one car, two light lorries and 6 buses. Night posts mounted in the harbour over the oil tanks and rly trucks containing equipment, and over the R. LOSSIE on the Eastern bank overlooking the beach |
