Entry 0800: Leading coy passed SP - Bn HQs. Order march D C HQs A B Route CONCHY (SP) FILLIEVRES - LINZEUX - OEUF - BEAUVOIS. Distance - 8½ miles for HQ Coy BEAUVOIS 1100: All Four rifle coys (A B C & D) billeted in OEUF, Bn HQ and HQ Coy in BEAUVIOS Usual billets in Farms and outbuildings, a little more difficult here to find cover for vehicles from air 1140: Lt-Col Moore dep for conference at Bde HQs 1630: Warning Order for move by MT to ST FLORIS AND GRAMMONT 1730: Conference for all Coy Cmdrs, MTO, QM, CPO in the HQs after Mess 2030: Message received from Bde that Bde would probably be moving by MT tomorrow 2335: Message from Bde appointing Major Bearne L.O at Rear Div HQs. Warned by C.O and deps for ST. POL : also message warning Bn to be at two hours notice from arrival tp carriers Weather: Hot: warmer very little breeze, hazy sky from 1600 hrs.
