All coys engaged in construction latrines, fireplaces, cookhouses and washing places and improving billets generally. all billets are dry and waterproof, and fairly warm: all men have straw Coys engaged in route marches and bayonet training etc 1100: Major Walker, L.O Mansaut, and Adv Party returned to Bn 1225: Major Gen. Franklyn and Lt Col Grover (Div Comdr and CSO I) to Bn HQs to see Lt-Col Moore 1530: Capt G.F. Woolnough and Capt H.N. Hoare (Adjt and RSO) to Bn HQs 1550: FGCM on Pte Barrett promulgated, 112 days Imprisonment with hard labour under AA 18(4) stealing property belonging to a person subject to military law, 28 days remitted by Brig Dempsey. 2/Lt Drury arr from No.2.
