Entry Weather - warmer, low clouds morning. 6 hrs sunshine from after noon. 1000: Lt-Col Moore and Capt Woolnough to Bousbecque to see Major Peacock, Capt Huelin and Capt Bond on move and reliefs by 1/5 Lan Fus 1115: C.O Lt-Col Smith 2nd I/C, Adj and QM of 1/5 Lan Fus arrived Bn HQs, and had preliminary recce of area and work with opposite Nos of this unit 1500: Leave re-opens 1830: Warning Order No.4 issued on relief and move to training area 1850: Civil Air Raid warning sounded. 2 planes seen flying into Belgium at 25,000ft.
