Entry 0020: 13 Inf Bde Admin Inst No.56 2 Copies received Weather warm and cloudy 0850: Orders issued for the departure of Bn billeting party to s [remainder of word missing] under Major Walker 0900: Conference for all Coy Comdrs, QM and MTO and 2/Lt Clarke at Bn HQs on move to [not stated] 1000: Lt-Col Moore round HQ Coy billets 1030: Brig Dempsey arr to see Major Walker; informed by Capt Rock (Bde Major) that the move to the [no details in diary] is suspended - all to "Stand By". Brig Dempsey issued instructions for preparations to be carried out, but no move to be made. 1030: Lt-Col Palmer O.C 5 Queens R, arr to make recce previous to his taking over the sector from us.
