Entry 0900 hrs. Patrol Commanders briefed. Two JEEP patrols. 0100 hrs. Amendment to Brigade O.I. no 02113 received. 1130 hrs. Coy. Cdrs. conference reference training. Three vacancies for O.R.'s for 28 days home leave have been allotted to the Bn. Selection of these men is to be by merit and NOT by ballot. This makes the task of selection very difficult, as many men are found to have equal qualification by merit. The final selection by the C.O. was These men left today for the SHWEBO airstrip en route for home. 1730 hrs. Patrol reports to Brigade.
