Entry 0030 hrs. Unidentified plane passed over the Bn area, flying high. 0715 hrs. Brigade operation instruction no 0.2113 received. 0830 hrs. The two patrol Commanders briefed. 0930 hrs. CO's inspection of Bush Hats. Now that we are allowed to wear Divisional Signs, both these and Regimental Flashes have been brought forward from Imphal (where they were left when present operations began) and sewed on bush hats. Transport have had Div. signs painted on. 1130 hrs. The A.D.M.S. Col. OFFICER, RAMC. visited, and inspected cookhouses and latrines. 1800 hrs. Patrol reports sent to Brigade.* 2000 hrs to 2200 hrs. Unidentified single plane flying South, then returning on a NORTH WESTERLY route, passed over the Bn area. The Bn. has been inoculated [sic] for CHOLERA. Reference to Appendices: Appendix no 13 Capt H.J. Baker (A.T.O.) went to Brigade as senior L.O. Capt Wilkinson from B Coy to be A.T.O. Capt J. Briscoe from C Coy to B Coy as 2i/c.
