Entry | At first light D Coy and 2 Plns of A Coy continued to probe the village of BUGYI and by 0845 hrs the village was reported clear. The BP opened the track to the bridgehead and a patrol of C Coy moved to un-named village reporting it still clear of enemy. At 0940 the Bde Comd arrived KYIGON and visited BUGYI with the C.O. The Bn is being moved out and the RWF are taking over the area. At 1145 hrs CO of RWF and recce parties arrived to take over. The relief was completed by 1730 hrs and Coys distributed as follows, D and A Coys TATTHIT. C Coy west end of WEIR, Bn HQ, HQ Coy and B Coy 1 mile north of TATTHIT at canal and road crossing. The night was quiet. |
