Entry | The column was held up for a road report following the rain and eventually moved off at 0834 the last vehicle left the camp at 0914. The road was in a shocking condition and it was difficult to maintain 10MPH there was one halt from 0950 to 1000 hrs. The journey was tiring but uneventful and the head of the convoy arrived at YAZAGO at 1625. The advance party had prepared a very good area and coys moved in and erected bivouac tents and following the evening meal all ranks went to bed. |
