| Entry | 9.30 Battalion paraded and marched to Landrecies (11 miles) where they were Billeted in barracks vacated by 84th Regiment of Infantry on 3rd August 1914. Order of march as below. HQ 6th Inf Bde - 1st KRRC, 1 Kings (Liverpool) Regt, 1/R.Berks Rgt, 2/South Staffords. 7 casualties during a very trying march. 6 reservists 1 serving soldier. Battalions of Expd Force had previously occupied these Bks, leaving them deplorably insanitary. Reported to HQ 6th Inf Bde. |
