At 5.30pm the Battalion relieved the Kings Rgt in subsection B1, RUE DE L'EPINETTE. A quiet relief. The front line lightly held by small parties in breastworks, remainder of front Companies A&B in houses about 150 yards in rear. Reserve Coys C&D in billets in RUE DE L'EPINETTE about 600 yards from forward Coys. 4 NCO's and 3 men sent on leave to England. 2/Lt Gregory arrived. |
