| Entry | The morning was spent in clearing up. In the afternoon the Divisional Band played in the Town and there was a concert in the evening. Weather fine. A few shells from a H.V. gun fell in the Town during the day and two civilians were killed. At 11.30 P.M. orders were received that the Battn would probably move to ESCARMAIN at 10 A.M. on the 29th. Definite orders to this effect were received 2 hours later. |
