| Entry | During the day the men rested and everything was got ready for the move up to the jumping off positions in the night. Brigade Orders and Instructions are attached. (marked A). Battalion orders (attached marked B) were issued at 2 PM. At 4.45 pm the Battalion moved off as laid down in the above order and were in position ready to attack by 2.55 pm 8/10/18. There were no casualties during the move up. |
