Entry | At 6.30 AM patrols were sent forward to see whether the enemy had again evacuated SLAG AVENUE but heavy MG fire from the NE prevented any information being gained. Later in the morning patrols located an enemy post at K20 c78. In the evening A Coy relieved C Coy in the left front sub-sector C Coy moving to the R Support positions on relief. Hostile Artillery and Trench Mortars were very active throughout all day and night. |
