Regiment | 1st Royal Berkshire |
---|---|
Location | France, LE TOURET |
Entry | Battn marched at 5pm to FESTUBERT to take over line held by Staffords on left and South Wales Borderers (3rd Bde) on right. C & D in firing line, A & B in reserve in billets round FESTUBERT. The trenches were in a bad state owing to continued wet weather and flatness of country much intersected by dykes. A fairly quiet relief. Captain Lucas returned to England to take over the duties of Bde Major 88th Bde. |
