Location France, FRONT LINE (RIGHT) BOIRY-ST-MARTIN
Entry Still foggy but clearer by noon. The enemy shelled our front line heavily for the first time, especially on the LEFT but no casualties were caused. One "blind" 5.9" shell fell right into the trench where men were sleeping. 1 OR reported sick next day suffering from shell shock. 2/Lieut MANNING who was wounded in CAMBRIN sector last summer reported this day and was posted to A Coy, Lieut DAWSON coming to Bt HQ as Assistant Adjutant.
